As a frequent traveler, I must say that my stay at Calcutts House was absolutely delightful. the warm welcome from James and Sara made me feel right at home. the beautiful 18th Century historic former Iron Master house exudes character and charm, offering a unique experience unlike any other. the individually decorated bedrooms were cozy and inviting, with my personal favorite being the one with an antique French bed. I particularly enjoyed the short walk into Ironbridge, passing by charming country pubs with large outdoor spaces. the very nearby Jackfield Tile Museum and Fusion Craft Centre are a must-visit, offering beautiful old-fashioned tiles at great prices. the guest lounge, with its warm tones and garden views, provided a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. the breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from, ensuring a delicious start to my day. In conclusion, I highly recommend Calcutts House to fellow travelers seeking a comfortable and friendly establishment in a picturesque setting. the outstanding hospitality provided by James and Sara truly sets this hotel apart, making it a memorable stay that I look forward to repeating in the future.
